UZH Healthy Longevity Center (HLC)

1st Healthy Longevity Innovation Days

The UZH Healthy Longevity Innovation Cluster and the UZH Innovation Hub are excited to invite you to attend the 1st UZH Healthy Longevity Innovation Days, consisting of a one-day symposium and a half-day workshop!

Symposium: Thursday, June 24th, 2021

The objectives of the symposium are to (1) launch a new annual symposium at UZH on Healthy Longevity Innovation (HLI) and bring together all relevant and interested stakeholders, (2) provide an overview of what is needed for HLI to prosper in Switzerland and abroad, with a strong focus on the heterogeneity and complexity of HL and how this aligns with the United Nations (UN) Decade of Healthy Aging 2021-2030, (3) outline how governmental institutions, foundations, investors and the private sector can contribute to HLI, (4) highlight the potential for contributions of UZH to HLI, as well as that of our strategic partners at University of Queensland and King’s College London, and (5) encourage participants to think differently about research and innovation, with an emphasis on how to embrace the HL challenges laid out by the World Health Organization (WHO).
