Research and Innovation

Our general aim is to measure, understand, and improve functional activities across the lifespan. To this end, we focus on the acquisition and use of data on the heterogeneity, complexity, and context-dependency of functional activities over the lifespan. Combined with dedicated research and innovation management capacities, the main objective of the HLC is to create paradigm-changing research and evidence-based innovations to have a societal impact.
